Timing Is Everything
They first crossed paths in college, surrounded by a circle of mutual friends. In 2018, Alexis’s best friend, line sister, and future bridesmaid saw the match before anyone else and tried to set them up, though timing had its own timeline. It wasn’t until 2022, when Alexis finally created an Instagram account, that Nathan saw his opening and sent a message. Casual DMs turned to late-night calls in December, and the conversation simply never stopped.

The Pursuit
Their first official date arrived at the start of January 2023. By date three, Nathan made his intentions clear: he didn’t want either of them seeing anyone else. Six months later, during a joint family beach trip in July, he officially asked Alexis to be his girlfriend.

The Proposal
What followed was years of intention, quiet support, and an effortless rhythm built together. In February 2026, Nathan asked Alexis to marry him. On April 17, 2027, they bring their favorite people together beneath the proscenium at The Civic Theatre to begin the rest of their lives.
